01 Storage
Where are my recordings?
On your device, and in your own iCloud if sync is enabled. Nothing is stored on our servers, because there are none. The privacy policy has the full picture.
02 Sync
How does iCloud sync work?
Sign in with the same Apple account on each device and your memos sync automatically through your private iCloud. Syncing needs an internet connection; everything else in the app works offline.
03 Recovery
I deleted a memo by mistake
Open Recently Deleted in the app and restore it from there. Memos removed from Recently Deleted are gone permanently.
04 Capture
Can I record without opening the app?
Yes. You can start a recording from your Apple Watch or from a home screen widget, and audio shared from other apps can be imported through the share sheet.
05 Export
How do I get my recordings out?
Every memo can be exported and shared as a standard audio file, so your ideas are never locked in.
